First of all, wow. Last post was almost a year ago? Yikes. Well, skipping ahead to now! :)
For the past few years, I have been getting migraines. They just kept getting worse and worse, and I had NO idea what was causing them. I tracked my migraines, I tracked what I ate- everything was random! It made no sense. So finally I noticed that my eyesight just wasn't as good as it used to be (I used to be very proud that I had very good eyesight!). So I finally made an appointment a few weeks ago, and got an exam. Turns out, my eyesight was a lot WORSE than I thought! (Although still not as bad as it could have been.) And I have an astigmatism in one eye, which made my eyes work extra hard at getting me to see. The Dr. even asked me if I had been getting migraines or headaches, and wasn't surprised at all when I told her that I'd been getting some pretty bad ones. She said that once my eyes were adjusted to the glasses, I shouldn't have any more problems with migraines! Yay! :) So Rachel helped me pick some glasses out, and I just got them 2 days ago. It's awfully weird having to wear glasses all the time- so not used to it yet! My depth perception is a little off (It was way off the first day, so I'm glad it's getting better!) but I can tell my eyes are already adjusting to my glasses because when I take them off, EVERYTHING is blurry, and I can really see just how hard my eyes had to work to try and get me to see normally! Everything is oh so clear now! I just have to get used to wearing them :)
Jonathan is growing up fast- he's 3 1/2 yrs old ALREADY! He looks nothing like a baby anymore, and that's a little bit sad for me, but I love this stage he's in! These days, he's all about superheroes! He LOVES them! He loves the old superman movies (w/ Christopher Reeves), the old batman movie and tv show (which are hilariously lame, but I love them too!). His grandma Kathy bought him a superman and a batman shirt, and he never wants to take them off, and can't wait until laundry day when he can wear them again! My mom and aunt made him a little superman cape that he wears a lot, and he'll talk like superman- it is SO STINKIN' CUTE!
Jonathan has always been a very social boy, but lately he's going through a phase where he HAS to be with his Mama. Very clingy. The only places where he isn't clingy is at home, or at church. He'll go all over the church and play with his friends, but other times he may still be social, but he'll freak out if I'm not with him (such as if my mom is watching him or if my dad takes him on a 4-wheeler ride; he loves 4-wheeler rides, but he just can't stand that I'm not with him.) Hopefully soon he'll leave that stage and be okay with being around other people (without me!), but only for short periods (Ha!), because when I have to be somewhere I sure miss my little guy! :)
