Unhappy Photo Shoot

This last Thursday, I took Jonathan in to get professional pictures taken. We are going to Ohio at the end of this month, so I wanted some pictures that we could give to family over there. But the pictures didn't go so well and I was very disappointed. We went to J.C. Penney's. I had heard lots of good things about them, but maybe the day we went was just an off day. I know I am not the best photographer. But I seriously could have done a better job than the photographer did this day. She made him cry by making these really loud sudden noises. He cried, and so she took pictures of him crying. Which I really didn't want. He was fussy throughout the rest of the shoot. Which by the way, wasn't very long. That also got me annoyed. She didn't take very many pictures at all. If I was the photographer I would have tried so many things to get him to smile but she didn't hardly try at all! And I don't really know what got into Jonathan because when I take pictures or even someone else does, he poses or hams it up for the camera! And he's always smiling, so I don't really know why he didn't smile except for that she scared him. So when the photo shoot was over, she said to come back in half an hour and the pictures would be ready to look at on the computer. So after an HOUR AND A HALF LATER and a very unhappy Jonathan.... I finally got to see the pictures. A lady who was apparently new, or didn't know what she was doing was enhancing the pictures- had I realized thats what she was doing the whole time, I would have told her I only want to see the regular pictures. I have never gotten professional pictures before. And later she told me that while with the coupon I had I could get 3.99 sheets, if I chose any of the enhanced ones (even if they were just black and white) they would be 14.99 a sheet. That is ridiculous. I'll scan them on my computer and enhance them myself lol. Anyways, she went through all the pictures with me, needing to tell me everything that Jonathan was thinking in every single picture. That was REALLY annoying. And then she tried to get me to buy all these pictures that I didn't like. I ended up only getting a few. They were okay pictures. So the whole process of pictures took over 2 hrs, I didn't think it would take that long. And Jonathan was very fussy for most of that 2 hrs which is VERY unlike him. The only good thing that happened is that Jonathan spit up on her nice black shirt when she decided to hold him. And then he laughed after he did it. :)

I just realized I never commented on this! I like the part about how Jonathan spits up on her and then laughs! The little rascal! :)
